It is available at a retail price of $10.00, the price of which will be determined by the pharmacy owner. This is the second time that Walmart and CVS have taken the step to lower their prices.
Walgreens will also be discontinuing their use of the product. Wal-Mart will no longer be offering the product at Wal-Mart locations nationwide, the company said in a statement.
The retail price of Nexium will be $20.00 per unit. Wal-Mart will pay $13.00 per 20 mg pill for a 30-day supply, or $7.00 for a 90-day supply. The retail price of 10 mg Nexium will be $24.00 per 10 mg pill. Wal-Mart will charge $10.00 per 20 mg pill.
Wal-Mart will offer a 30-day supply of the drug at $10.00 per 20 mg pill. CVS will offer a 90-day supply of the drug at $8.00 per 20 mg pill.
The company will no longer be offering the product at CVS locations nationwide.
The company said the price of the product will be determined by the pharmacy owner and that it will be posted on the pharmacy's website. Walmart will continue to offer the product at Wal-Mart locations nationwide.

Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example, heartburn and acid regurgitation).
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the gullet (“foodpipe”) which may become inflamed and painful. This may cause you symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
Nexium Control is not meant to bring immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row before you feel better. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days.
